AVA Cooling HAUGG - AVA Deutschland GmbH
Anton Vallet from Aachen founded a repair shop for welding and soldering work in Aachen, Germany in 1923. Soon after, Vallet expanded his services to include the manufacture and repair of radiators. Albert Haugg took over the business in 1957 and from then on concentrated exclusively on developing, designing, manufacturing and selling heat exchangers for engine cooling and vehicle air conditioning systems. Haugg's rapidly growing international customer base includes vehicle manufacturers and the automotive aftermarket, especially spare parts dealers and specialist radiator repair shops.
In 1963 the AVA-Haugg Group created the brand 'AVA Cooling Systems' to concentrate on the international automotive aftermarket of engine cooling and air conditioning spare parts. The range of water radiators, oil radiators and intercoolers, condensers, evaporators, compressors, driers, expansion valves, heaters, fans, fan clutches and water pumps, comprising over 8,000 different items, is one of the most comprehensive in its field. The quality of the products, catalogue information and service are of utmost importance to the company.
In January 2008 Wolfgang Haugg, managing director of the AVA Cooling Haugg Group, founded AVA Deutschland GmbH, which is headquartered in Gerlingen now. This latest addition to the Haugg Group focuses on the distribution of spare parts for engine cooling and vehicle air conditioning systems in Germany and neighbouring European countries.
The AVA-Haugg Group now has five production sites in Aachen, Sulz/Neckar, Triberg/Black Forest (all in Germany), Brussels (Belgium) and Bratislava (Slovakia). In addition eight European distributorships are affiliated to the company, in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, France, the UK, Spain, Italy and Denmark. The company headquarters and management headquarters is in Aachen/Germany. The whole group employs over 550 people.

AVA Danmark a/s
AVA Danmark A/S was founded in Denmark in 1993 and started distribution of radiators and cores for both automotive and industrial applications. On this moment our product range include the entire AVA program:
Radiators, cores, heaters, oil coolers, intercoolers and since this year the Air Conditioning Components: condensers, evaporators, driers and compressors.
From the central position in Horsens, where we have a wide stock of over 1.000 different references, we export to ail other Scandinavian countries. Within 24 hours we are able to supply these parts into these various destinations. For the Danish market, we are able to supply overnight. For references which are not on stock at our warehouse, we can order from one of the central warehouses (In the Netherlands) where we stock over 100.000 pcs.
For specials / one off's - both in copper brass and in aluminum - we are able to supply from our factories in Germany.

Llanrad began trading by offering surplus distribution of radiators from the Llanelli Radiator plant in the early eighties. In 1989 the business was moved to Sheffield and sold to the Almutlaq Group of Saudi Arabia in 1992.
The Haugg Group acquired the company in November 1999, as the UK distribution arm of AVA Cooling Systems. Backed by the AVA product range and catalogue, and benefiting from a rapid replenishment supply routing from the Netherlands, Llanrad successfully adopted a new customer service and quality led strategy and successfully sought to offer the best automotive and commercial cooling product proposition in the UK parts aftermarket, as a clear distinction between the Llanrad of 1999 and the forward thinking, successful business into which it has evolved, Llanrad were pleased to re-launch in the early part of 2002 as AVA Cooling Systems-UK, adopting the AVA group corporate ID.
Today AVA-UK is recognised, as being one of the leading suppliers in our sector and continuously strive to expand and improve our already excellent service, quality and product range

AVA France
The company AVA-FRANCE was created on 1. February 2003 by reunifying the French distribution companies RADIOR and MORADIA.
In the warehouse in Villeneuve la Garenne close to Paris approximately 5000 references are available. The customer base consists of wholesalers, radiator repair shops and vehicle-manufacturers.
In order to offer a more efficient service, AVA-France have established a network of seven warehouses in several French towns (Marseilles, Toulouse, Bordeaux, Nantes, Lille, Nancy and Lyon).
Besides the distribution of engine cooling and air-conditioning parts, spare-parts are offered for the repair of heat exchangers (especially cores and tools) to specialist radiator repair shops.
AVA-France can also repair and re-manufacture heat exchangers from samples or drawings if required.

AVA Benelux bv was formed in 1996 through a merger of two independent distribution companies, RSO Radiateuren Groothandel bv (founded in 1980) and Otodimex bv (founded in 1973).
Various functions are centralised in the Dutch location of the AVA group such as updating the catalogue, creation of the car parc database and development of new models.
Due to the long experience within the heat transfer industry all new models are tested before entering our extensive range of products. Especially quality is one of the main criteria before any product is added to the AVA range.
The current product range for engine cooling consists of: radiators, heaters, oil coolers, intercoolers and cores (both in aluminum and copper/brass).
For the aftermarket of Automotive Airconditioning, the following products are available: condensors, evaporators, driers and compressors (only new and original). All of these components together make the program of the AVA Group one of the most extensive ranges currently available in the aftermarket.
Daily shipments are made towards Belgium, Germany, France and Holland from our central warehouse of 4500 m2 in Hilvarenbeek, Holland carrying a stock of over 150.000 items. Most deliveries are carried out overnight.

AVA Italia srl was founded in 1990 as the European distribution centre of Motoware, the international trading arm of Automakers, a private Company owned by Sankorp, a subsidiary of Sanlam, which was the most diversified industrial group in South Africa.
AVA Italia srl exported automotive components such as catalytic converters, cast iron engine blocks, radiators, suspension components, wheels, tyres, brake systems and electrical components. Warehouses were in Livorno, within the harbour, just few steps away from where the vessels arrived and offloaded the containers.
In order to run the ever increasing activities more efficiently, in 1995 the main offices were transferred to Livorno, continuing however to have a representative office in Torino The AVA Italia srl logo was rapidly becoming a strong reality in the aftermarket!
In 1996 all the activities (offices and warehouse) were transferred to Massa and in 1998 the Company entered the AVA Group, concentrating and specialising in engine cooling and air conditioning components.
Currently there are 24 people employed in the Company which continues the tradition of operating both domestically and on the international market.
